Janco Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Estimator on behalf of their clients based in Dudley.
The Estimator will be joining the commercial department and be providing an estimating service including preperation of cost estimates, working alongside designers, engineers and customers to deliver accurate project costs.
Salary is dependent upon experience and can be discussed.
If you are interested and hold a degree or have been in a similar role but are not at an experienced level then do get in touch as a Trainee Estimator position can be discussed at a lower salary range.
Experience, skills and qualifications required;
* Construction or metalwork industry trade experience and knowledge
* Ability to communicate, verbally and written
* Ability to read and understand drawings (CAD experience is advantageous)
* Ability to forward plan
* Excellent organisation skills
* Numerical skills for calculations and analysis
* Problem solving skills
* Experience within a Estimating role
Duties;
* Preparing and submitting quotations for customers/clients
* Assisting with project planning
* Attending meetings on site as and when required
* Assessing supplier quotes and suitability to projects
* Communicating with designers, suppliers, customers
* Building and maintaining relationships
