Alexander Daniels are proud to be working with an business in Tamworth to recruit a Finance Assistant on a 6 month FTC. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and would suit someone who is eager to expand on their transactional finance knowledge.

Daily tasks will include:

• Maintaining the Purchase and Sales ledger.
• Daily bank reconciliation.
• Credit Control - chasing debtors.
• Ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Escalating discrepancies to senior management.
• Reconcile the receivable records with sales invoices.
• Additional ad hoc tasks and project work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years experience in similar role.
• Strong communication skills and good telephone manner.
• Ability to prioritise and plan workload.
• Good Excel and Analytical skills.
• A can-do positive approach to work with a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, established business and will benefit from a competitive salary up to £26,000.
