Toolmaker

Our client on the outskirts of south Leicestershire is looking to recruit a skilled Toolmaker due to ongoing growth within the company. This is a permanent role and a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has recently expanded internationally. The successful candidate will be working from Modern and newly refurbished facility in a supportive and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in toolmaking, producing jigs and fixtures, manual machining, CNC Machining. Programming experience will also be a bonus.

Toolmaker Duties and responsibilities

* Manufacturing Jigs, fixtures, tooling

* Maintenance and improvement of existing tooling.

* Setting and programming of CNC machinery for small batch and development purposes.

* Utilising manual machinery including lathes and grinders

* CADCAM knowledge advantageous but not essential

* Involvement in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

* Any other duties that may from time to time be reasonably expected.

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

* Good knowledge of engineering materials.

Toolmaker

* 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday / Friday Midday Finish

* £36,000-£40,000 per annum
