Fawkes & Reece are working with a well respected and long standing contractor who are looking for an Estimator to add to their small precon team in the Sussex area.

They specialise in several sectors of the construction industry which include;

Earth dams and river control
Roads and bridges
Steel-framed building design and fabrication
Domestic and commercial refurbishment
Golf course and playing-field construction
Piling and underpinning
Pipelines and tunnelling
Pre-cast and reinforced concrete
Lime stabilisation and subsoil modification
Water meter installationResponsibilities as Estimator:

Assessments of potential projects all prior to tender reviews and submission of quotations
Preparing tender documents (Take- Offs from drawings & Bill of Quantities)
Dealing with sub contract quotations
Managing the production of the tender costs in consultation with the project planner, design manager and bid manager allocated to the project
Attending pre-let and post tender interviews to discuss potential value engineering options
Handover of successful tender information such that the site teams are suitably briefedEstimator Requirements

Good understanding of first principles.
Experience working in the water sector would be very desirable.
4+ years experience within a precon team.
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
