Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact. With a focus on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to provide tailored interventions and support.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualification: Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registration: Essential to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 months’ experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Person-Centred Approach: Demonstrated ability to understand and respond to individual needs.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident in liaising with a range of stakeholders, from residents to team members and external professionals.
  • Organisational Skills: Efficient at managing caseloads and maintaining accurate documentation.

 

Your day-to-day:

  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals to understand their needs, preferences, and goals. Develop and implement personalised therapy plans to support their progress.
  • Intervention Delivery: Provide practical support, therapies, and advice to empower individuals to overcome barriers to daily living.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to care.
  • Monitoring and Review: Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Education and Advocacy: Offer guidance and education to residents, families, and team members about therapeutic strategies and resources.
