A rapidly expanding service based group are now looking for a Finance Manager to join a small dedicated team, based in North Kent. Reporting to the MD you will oversea a team of 3 and be happy dealing with the every day finance as well as the more detailed management accounts work. Duties will include:-

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role:-

• Oversee the sales and purchase ledger, including month end reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers to discuss payment terms
• Chasing overdue invoices and weekly aged debtor analysis
• Full monthly management accounts
• Profit and loss, accruals and prepayments
• Detailed cashflow analysis and making the MD aware of any potential debts
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review budgets keeping a tight control of cost

Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-

• Qualified by experience or an active studier
• SME background
• Hands on, posting journals and reconciling accounts
• Excellent communication skills
• First rate systems skills especially Excel
• This role is office based 5 days a week
