Are you detail-oriented and eager to develop your finance career? We’re looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join our clients finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers, looking to expand their skills and gain valuable experience in VAT, payroll, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing Invoices: Manage the accurate and timely processing of purchase and sales invoices.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of all transactions.
• Posting Payroll Journals: Support the finance team by accurately posting payroll journals and assisting with month-end processes.
• VAT Learning: You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with VAT, including preparing and submitting VAT returns as you grow in the role.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow in VAT and other finance processes
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is a plus
