Mathematical Optimisation Consultant, Mathematical Modeller, Python, 3-Month Contract, £750, Outside IR35, COR6931

We're looking for a skilled Mathematical Optimisation Consultant or Mathematical Modeller with expertise in Linear Programming and Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP). In this role, you’ll be instrumental in supporting a leading consultancy to solve complex optimisation challenges across multiple industries.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in mathematical optimisation, particularly with Linear Programming and MILP.

• Proficient in Python, with hands-on experience using scientific libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Familiarity with optimisation tools like Pyomo, JuMP, AMPL, and commercial solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, or XPRESS.

• Knowledge of data science techniques, including forecasting and machine learning, would be advantageous.
