We're on the lookout for a Welder Fabricator to join a market specialist in the design and manufacturing of bespoke equipment at their site based in Stockport.
In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate autonomously and as part of a team to craft high-quality bespoke fabrications from detailed drawings, ensuring meticulous standards, timely completion, and adherence to health and safety protocols.

* Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm / Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?
* Working autonomously and collaboratively to craft bespoke fabrications from detailed blueprints
* Conducting self-inspections to uphold meticulous standards, ensuring timely completion while meeting deadlines
* Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols, maintaining secure and sound work practices
* Documenting material usage and log daily working hours accurately
* Confirming practical completion of finished products
What do you need?
* The ability to MIG & TIG weld
* Previous fabricating experience
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* A recognised apprenticeship/NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
* Previous industry experience
* Jig design and production run set up experience (advantageous)
* Experience in finishing stainless steel (advantageous)
