Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - One of the UK's leading suppliers of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Bishops Stortford. Please only apply if you have your own transport to get to the site

The rate of pay is £31,034 per annum, plus bonus!

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, and the hours of work are:
- 6:30am to 4pm
- 8am to 5:30pm

Location for this role is CM23 4TR - if you are within a 15-mile radius of the site, this role would be perfect for you!

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include placing goods into storage, picking stock, and consolidating orders. Assist in the loading of vehicles. This job is to be performed in a manner which enables the Company to provide the best possible service to its customers and maximise environmental, health and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
- Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.
- Receive goods and check into the warehouse accurately.
- Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting, and lowering
- Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.

Your skills:

- Previous warehousing experience is a must
- FLT licence is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual - friendly and fun
Full driving license and your own transport
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions of management, and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner.
