Part Time - Branch Assistant
Location: East Sussex
Salary: Up to £30,000 per rata (Dependent on Experience) + Generous Bonus
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent ( Monday - Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm )

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established plumbers' merchant team as a Branch Assistant. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Counter Assistance/ Driving/ Warehouse (as required):

* Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.

* Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.

* Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

* Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.

* Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.

* Assist in the warehouse as required, loading/ unloading.

* Driving the van delivering plumbing and heating products.

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience in a plumbers' merchant environment is preferred.

* Able to lift heavy warehouse items (radiators/ boilers).

* Strong customer service and communication skills.

* Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous.

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

* A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
