EC&I Technician

Pertemps are looking for an experience EC&I Engineer to join our client in Newport on the Isle of Wight. The role involves supporting the maintenance team by resolving electrical and instrumentation related challenges and managing PPMs.
 
Main Responsibilities:

Being an electrical duty holder
Following the appropriate Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental standards, policies and procedures
Assisting in the delivery of KPI's
Testing and implementing software modules and systems
Testing SCADA systems, as well as maintaining and implementing.
Assisting with outage activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, ensuring C&I work are completed
Identifying failure modes for apparatus's 
Your Experience:

Proven experience of electrical installation systems, relating to Domestic and Industrial premises
Practical understanding of Health and Safety requirements associated with electrical engineering
Being computer literate and able to use Microsoft operations 
Qualifications:

Certificate in Safety Instrumented Systems
Recognised EC&I Apprenticeship Scheme ONC/HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent 
The working shifts for this role are 5:45-17:00 and 11:45-23:00 on a four-on-four off basis.
