Job Title - Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location - Remote
Contract Length - 12 Months
Pay Rate - £60 - £75 hour (INSIDE IR35)
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the engineering design remains aligned with the overall design intent and maintain its integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Review, approve, and produce technical documentation including calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and reports.
Foster effective cooperation across engineering teams and other departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring their needs are met, resolving technical and delivery issues, and keeping them informed on project progress.
Identify and apply relevant procedures, codes, and standards to all engineering activities.
Proactively communicate and manage risks at the task and project levels.
Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of an HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ability to obtain or already holds Chartered status, demonstrating advanced expertise in your field.
You are a leader who champions high performance and is not afraid to challenge existing processes for better outcomes.
Knowledge of CAD tools and general engineering drawing practices is essential.
Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Proven experience in leading a team effectively to meet project goals and deadlines
