We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our school in Chesterfield on a full-time basis. This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding role supporting Year 6 students during this crucial stage of their education.

Role: Year 6 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:

In this role, you will:

Provide support across all aspects of the curriculum in the Year 6 classroom.
Work with small groups of students for English and Maths interventions.
Be a confident behaviour manager, helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Who We Are Looking For:

Previous experience working with Upper Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6 students.
A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
Confidence supporting the delivery of core subjects, including leading intervention groups.
