Mechanical Project Engineer

Parkinson Gray Associates is the leading building services Recruitment Agency in the Yorkshire region. We have been appointed to act as Recruiting Agents for our Client, an independently owned building services contractor based in South Yorkshire.

This is a relatively new mechanical contractor in the South Yorkshire region, owned by seasoned building services professionals with a long proven history in the region. With an enviable order book of projects ranging all the way up to £4.5 million, they are set to continue their success into 2024 and beyond. They are looking to make this appointment due to their success and to facilitate their plans for expansion.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will look after the three core activities: 1) profit and loss responsibility on projects, from inception to completion, 2) Client facing and 3) design interface - not as a Mechanical Design Engineer but with the technical skills to deliver a design on site. Office based but with frequent site visits, you will look after a handful of projects at any one time. Juggling your workload from the office, hybrid working from home if that suits and working from site, you will deal with all aspects of project completion.

For this role, we are looking for a seasoned, proven Mechanical (HVAC) building services professional. Certainly, you will have gained experience within a contractor and be used to the “sharp end” of the building services sector. You should have a track record of timely and profitable project delivery and be able to provide industry references to support your application.
