Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Greenwich

Remedy are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely mainstream primary school in the Greenwich area. This is a full time, long-term position to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children with ASD.

The Role:

Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
Understanding and updating EHCPs
Preparing engaging and stimulating learning activities, including sensory activities
Working closely with other members of staff, including teaching assistants and class teachers
Building rapport with students and parentsPosition Details:

Location: Greenwich
Position: ASD Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 - £110 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Long-term ongoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting primary aged pupils is essential, in particular EYFS
Previous experience supporting SEN
Sensory/Makaton experience is highly desired
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
