Orion are again partnering with a leading Renewables company with an exciting new position for someone who is looking for a career change or expanding their knowledge and becoming a Heat Recovery & Ventilation Systems Engineer initially coming on as a Trainee Engineer.

The Trainee Engineer role will involve working predominantly within the social housing sector and will be working with our 4 main systems:

Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery Systems (MVHR)

Single Room Heat Recovery Ventilation (SRHRV)

Positive Input Ventilation (PIV)

Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV)

The Trainee Engineer will be offered training at a new training facility located within the main office in Weston-super-Mare. Your training will involve spending a week at the training centre followed by a period of mentorship for several weeks.

The Trainee Engineers responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, installation, servicing, diagnostics, and addressing breakdowns of the heat recovery units.

Hours 8am to 5pm

Starting salary £26,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
