Job Advert: General Operative
Location: Eastwood, Rotherham
Hours: Days Only (Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm)
Pay: £12 - £12.50 per hour (Overtime paid at 1.5x)

iRecruit is currently seeking a General Operative on behalf of our client, a well established business in the Eastwood area of Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the steel industry, with the potential for permanent employment and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* General housekeeping in production areas
* Loading and unloading goods
* Operating a forklift (counterbalance licence required)
* Repetitive handling and lifting of heavy and large items
* Accurately recording stock movement and usage
* Transferring stock to its location using a counterbalance forklift
* Maintaining high standards of Health and Safety
* Working efficiently both as part of a team and independently
* Flexibility to adapt to operational requirements
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential
* Must have a valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence (accredited)
* A proactive, hardworking attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency
