The Opportunity:

Our client, a specialist interiors and build main contractor based in Wigan, is looking for a highly skilled Experienced Estimator to join their team. With a strong reputation across education, healthcare, and commercial office space projects, they are committed to delivering high-quality services and innovative solutions within these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare detailed estimates and cost proposals for a variety of projects within education, healthcare, and commercial office spaces.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure competitive, well-researched estimates and proposals.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project specifications and requirements, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for the most competitive pricing.
  • Assist in pre-construction planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, ideally within interiors, education, healthcare, or commercial office spaces.
  • Strong background in project estimation, with a proven track record of accurate cost projections.
  • Must be within commuting distance of Wigan.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an eye for detail.
