Our client, a well established and reputable organisation in Brentwood, is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounts administration to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing company credit cards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
  • Efficiently inputting invoices into the accounting system, maintaining attention to detail at all times.
  • Handling and managing expenses, ensuring they are processed accurately and within given time frames.
  • Processing payments promptly, liaising with suppliers and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Dealing with email enquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Undertaking administration tasks for the company charity.
  • Providing comprehensive accounts and administrative support during busy periods and covering for colleague's holidays.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in accounts administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, coupled with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
