Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse - Specialising in Eating Disorders
Band: 6
Location: Birmingham
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)
Schedule: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £26 per hour
What Your Day Could Look Like: As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients in their own environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Conducting visits to patients in the community, ensuring their needs are met and offering personalized support.
Administering medications as required, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
Engaging in meaningful conversations with patients to understand their conditions, track progress, and provide empathetic support.
Performing risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for patients, addressing any potential risks to themselves or others.
What We're Looking For: To excel in this role, you'll need:

Active NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Proven experience working within community settings.
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
The flexibility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
A commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care.
Previous experience in eating disorders.
A full driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
