This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse to step into a leadership role and help deliver outstanding care to residents. The successful candidate will support the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality care.Role OverviewThe Deputy Home Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of the care home’s clinical functions. This includes leading a skilled team of healthcare professionals, providing support and mentorship to staff, and implementing care plans tailored to each resident’s needs. The role requires overseeing advanced level-care and supporting the team in delivering best practices in nursing and personal care.Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Assist the Home Manager in managing clinical operations and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams, ensuring staff are motivated and deliver quality care.
  • Care Plans: Supervise the development and review of care plans, ensuring they address residents’ specific needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the care home complies with CQC standards and internal policies.
  • Resident Wellbeing: Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of residents, addressing any concerns promptly.
Candidate Requirements
  • Must have an NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in a care home setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience with advanced level-care, such as dementia and complex care, is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
