We are currently working in partnership with a fantastic SEN school located in the heart of London in the borough of Camden. The school is looking for a number of Learning Support Assistants to join their friendly and supportive team. The school provides holistic and therapeutic education to pupils with Speech, Language & Communication needs (SLCN) needs and other additional needs such as Autism/ASC/ASD.
The role involves:
* Supporting primary & secondary children as well as assisting the class teacher & therapists
* Help to maintain the learning environment & assist with administration
* Assisting with 1:1 or group support as needed
* Whole class support in lessons
As a Learning Support Assistant you will have:
* Confidence, enthusiasm & a passion for learning
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASC
* Ability to promote & sustain a nurturing environment
* Ability to support & attend residential school trips as required
