This is a Permanent position for a Part Time Legal Counsel to join a well established business with offices based on the outskirts of Bath.

Description

The Part Time Legal Counsel position based in Bath will involve the following tasks:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts including customer and supplier agreements, terms and conditions, heads of terms and non-disclosure agreements.
• Supporting the sales and purchase teams on contract review and contract management.
• Advising on potential disputes.
• Support to company secretarial function including share transfers and corporate filings at Companies House.
• Assistance with drafting Board and Management agendas and minutes.
• Assistance with organising and running of the AGM.
• Involvement as required in a variety of other legal areas, including property/lease matters, trusts, environmental queries and intellectual property.
• Assisting on the development of Company precedents and policies.
• Provide support on departmental administrative matters.
• Advising on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Part Time Legal Counsel position will need the following skills and experience:

• Has at least 6 month's experience in commercial contracts, corporate or commercial litigation.
• Excellent relationship management skills to be able to engage with key stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail
• Be able to work independently

Job Offer

This is a Permanent position, offering part time hours, approximately 3-4 days per week, but with flexibility for the right candidate.
