English Teacher
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £90 - £220 per day
Start Date: Immediate or As Soon As Possible
Contract: Long-Term, Full-Time

GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help shape the future of students by delivering engaging English lessons potentially A-levels, depending on experience.

English Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Ensuring students are prepared for GCSE examinations through thorough coverage of the curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
Developing students' skills in reading, writing, and critical analysis.
Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and implementing intervention strategies where necessary.
Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take an active role in their learning.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Previous experience as an English Teacher, ideally within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver inspiring lessons across a range of abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
