We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Carer to join our team. with complex care exprience.The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including those with specific health conditions. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance in their daily activities. experience with challenging behaviours, mental health and substance mis-use is important

Duties

* Provide home care support to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.

* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

* Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.

* Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions.

* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.

* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.

* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.

Skills

* Experience in home care or nursing home settings is highly desirable.

* Candidate Must have experience with challenging behaviours, mental health and substance mis-use

* Strong understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals requiring support.

* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple client needs efficiently.

* Staff ratios would need to be 2:1, at least initially, with skills in managing behaviour which challenges, including safe restraint, and ideally minimal recourse to medication to sedate. Ideally a small staff group with limited turnover.
