Catering Assistant

• Salary: £23,000-£26,000

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Havant.We require the candidate for this post to start ASAP

Primary Duties

• Support the Catering Manager in delivery of cooking
• To aid in the recording and culinary related administration requirements
• Support on cooking duties linked to the refectory
• To assist in planning, preparing and initiating the menu
• Support the team in the completion of activities that ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in line with the required standards
• Ensure food hygiene and allergen precautions are undertaken

Requirements

• Able to start ASAP
• Relevant experience
• Enhanced DBS (desired)
• The ability to work under pressure in the kitchen
• Experience of working well within a team
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
