Job Title: CAD Draughtsman (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Rochester

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Experience Dependant

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Draughtsman for a 1-year fixed-term contract to join our team and contribute to an exciting new project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing the layout of a new manufacturing facility and producing detailed 2D CAD drawings and elevations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design the layout of a new manufacturing facility
Create precise 2D CAD drawings and elevations
Prepare and write technical documentation
Update existing CAD drawings for current facilities
Calculate dimensions and create Bills of Materials (BoMs)
Collaborate with engineers and external stakeholders
Perform additional duties as requiredRequirements:

Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman on similar projects
Proficiency in creating 2D CAD drawings and elevations
Ability to generate technical documents and BoMs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various teams
