Henderson Scott Finance & Accounting is looking to connect with qualified Financial Accountants seeking a new challenge. This role offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities within a growing SME business.

Reporting to a high-performing Financial Controller, this is a varied role where you'll have the opportunity to make it your own and take on leadership responsibilities, contributing to both strategic and day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Reconciliations - Prepare financial statements, manage key account reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, payroll, VAT), and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the 12-week rolling cashflow, finalise payment run amounts, and review with the FC/CFO.
• Complete key control account reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, payroll, PAYE, VAT).
• Prepare UK quarterly VAT returns.
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations and post necessary journals.
• Review multi-country payroll, manage PAYE & pension payments, and approve creditor payments.
• Act as a key contact for audit queries and assist with adjustments.
• Oversee AP & AR teams, review aged debtors/creditors reports, and P&L postings.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: CIMA/ACA/ACCA essential.
• Experience: Strong financial accounting background with accuracy & efficiency.
• Skills: Intermediate Excel and ERP knowledge.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in reports, reconciliations, and records.

Salary

• £60,000 plus excellent company benefits
