MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant for a reputable practice in West Ipswich. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will have previous practice experience and be keen to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working proactively and efficiently towards strict deadlines for clients
• Preparing financial statements and management accounts
• Liaising with clients to ensure that information is received in sufficient time to prepare accounts.
• Preparing Personal Tax Returns

Qualifications and Experience:

• Working towards an accountancy qualification (i.e AAT/ACCA/ACA)
• Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Previous experience using accountancy packages Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
• Knowledge of TaxCalc would be advantageous but not essential
• Be highly organised, analytical, logical and numerical
• A willingness to learn
• Able to work well within a team
