Part-Time Booster Teacher Year 5/6 Boosters

Contract Duration: Fixed term until July 2024
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 2 days per week (flexible)

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our moderately sized, two-form entry primary school in Chesterfield. This part-time role will focus on delivering booster sessions for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils in English and maths, with occasional classroom support as needed. The position is ideal for those with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience working with upper Key Stage 2 (KS2) students.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead small group interventions to support pupils in achieving key learning objectives in English and maths.
Provide targeted assistance that helps close learning gaps and boosts student confidence.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.
Occasionally assist in-class as required, contributing to a supportive and effective learning environment.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience working with upper KS2 pupils.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to tailor instruction to meet the needs of various learners.Flexibility Offered:
