Your responsibilities as a Purchasing Assistant will include:
- Chasing suppliers for delivery dates
- Checking supplier’s order confirmations
- Updating supplier information onto the Company database
- Answering delivery enquiries from other departments in the business
- General administration associated with purchasing
What we’re looking for in a Purchasing Assistant:
- Previous experience in a Purchasing/Admin role
- Computer literacy, including experience of in-house computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- To be highly organised and efficient
- The ability to work accurately to deadlines
