Job Purpose / Overview
The Early Careers team are experiencing a surge in both supply and demand, and as a result, the Early Careers team are looking for a replacement in Business Support. The Early Careers team provides a valuable solution to meet the capability demands of the business and the replacement of the Early Careers Business Support role is an essential link in the operational delivery elements of the programmes to meet the demand future growth.

The Early Careers Business Support is an essential role in delivering a high-quality Early Careers Programmes through supportive administration, management and oversight of operational programme elements and communications both internal and external via stakeholders. The role is valued as a key enabler to a positive programme experience.

The Early Careers Business Support provides a pivotal role between the individual on programme and the programme lead who manages the programme delivery. This covers many different areas of the business which include:

Recruitment and Onboarding
Welcome and Induction
Operational programme delivery
Training Providers
Qualification and moving into a substantive position
The Business Support role will be supporting the successful delivery of all our Early Careers programmes from end to end with our programme leads. This joint support results in individuals that enter the organisation are fully equipped and ready for work, that will move around our business gaining valuable insights and knowledge on how we operate and finally completing the programme successfully having a great experience and potentially a qualification at the end.

Principal Accountabilities
Your principal accountabilities will include but not be limited to:

Organise Welcome webinars for our new starters on programme to meet and greet them to the business
Organise Line Manager Role and Responsibility briefing sessions as part of new start inductions
Support organisation and logistics of new start inductions
Organise various forums/presentations for various programmes either face to face or online
Organise, Minute and take actions for Steering group meeting with stakeholders
Manage the NSA Early Careers Mailbox triage
Collate performance feedback (12 weekly review) and manage confidential storage
Organise Meet and Greet with Mentors including discipline professional bodies
Support organisation of graduation event including invitation to stakeholders
Organise EC face to face meetings
Liaise with EDF finance to support the processing of payments and finances
Manage Early Careers SharePoint
Support Early Careers Programme Leads in day-to-day operational aspects of programmes
Organise and manage various forms of data collection such as Reward and Recognition, Wellbeing survey etc
Provide strong and high-quality communications to various stakeholders and groups
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

Strong communication skills with a eye for detail
Be creative, can innovate and design, propose and action more efficient ways of working using technology
A genuine interest in nuclear energy, the power generation industry and technology
Desire to support people on their programme and career journey
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Flexibility to travel
Experience of working within Early Careers or with young people is desirable
