Job Opportunity: Corporate Education Solicitor

Location: Sevenoaks

Overview: We are working with a Top 50 full-service law firm to recruit an experienced corporate solicitor to lead on corporate education matters for its education sector clients. With a strong, growing reputation in the education field, the firm is looking for a strategic hire to bolster its firm-wide education practice. The role offers strong career progression opportunities and a chance to contribute to a diverse, community-oriented firm.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

• Qualified corporate solicitor with at least 8 years PQE, with experience in the education sector
• Advising education institutions on corporate law, charity law, governance, and regulatory matters
• Lead on transactions involving private education institutions (share/asset sales, reorganisations)

 Skills:

• Strong academic background and legal knowledge
• Ability to think commercially, analytically and under pressure
• Excellent drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills
• Ability to provide practical advice to clients
• Experience in business development and client relationship management
