Senior Estimator

Are you an experienced senior estimator with a strong background in civil engineering and construction? This innovative company has been delivering complex infrastructure projects internationally for over 150 years, enhancing environments and pushing engineering boundaries

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate pricing for tenders, ensuring compliance with company governance procedures.
Work closely with Bid Managers, Planners, and Design Managers to develop competitive pricing methodologies and outputs.
Provide pricing support for early contractor involvement projects, advising on the most competitive design options.
Produce competitive price estimates for tenders, including labor, plant, materials, subcontract packages, temporary works, staff, preliminaries, and risk assessments.
Prepare handover pricing documents for successful bids and review feedback on tender prices for future tenders. Ideal Candidate:

15-20 years of experience in civil engineering and construction, with a strong knowledge of the UK construction market.
Higher education in civil engineering or construction (a degree is desirable).
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present to clients and stakeholders effectively.
Well-presented, accountable, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality services.
Design and influence solutions to address inefficiencies and promote continuous improvement.
Take personal responsibility for delivering services with a "can-do" attitude.
