We're looking for a Registered Manager to join a brand-new 5-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children's home in Birmingham. Our client is led by a passionate Director with over 26 years in Health and Social Care, offering you the chance to shape the culture and recruit your team from the ground up.

This is a fantastic opportunity with an annual salary of £80,000 - £90,000. You'll enjoy a retainer paid during your notice period, ensuring a smooth transition into your new role. There's also the potential for rapid career progression as the company has ambitious plans to expand.

As the Registered Manager, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact:

Lead the home through Ofsted registration and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Create a positive and supportive environment for children and staff.
Build and manage a team of skilled staff.
Develop care plans to promote children's well-being.
Drive continuous improvement for high standards of care.
Build relationships with external stakeholders like local authorities and families.

The ideal Registered Manager will have:

Experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager in a children's residential setting.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, children's homes regulations, and Ofsted standards.
Passion for making a difference in the lives of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards it).
