Role responsibilities - Leading audits from planning through to completion for not-for-profit clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Assisting with corporate audits, contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting
- Reviewing audit work, identifying areas for improvements, and providing recommendations
- Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide professional advice
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a strong learning environment
- Staying up to date with changes in audit regulations, particularly those impacting the not-for-profit sector
- Collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients

Candidate requirements - ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist, with significant experience in audit within an accountancy practice
- Proven ability to manage audit assignments independently and lead teams effectively
- Experience working with not-for-profit clients is advantageous but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge of audit regulations and financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
- A proactive and organised mindset, capable of managing multiple deadlines
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior staff is beneficial
