Design Engineer (Mechanical) - Great Yarmouth - up to £40k basic - 37.5hr week - 28 Days Holiday - Huge progression opportunities

J3A Recruitment are excited to be working with a very successful, highly innovative engineering business who service and support key water operators around the UK.

Due to a highly successful period over recent months, they are now extending their engineering teams to keep up with the demand from their clients.

For the right Design Engineer, you can find yourself working for a highly recognised engineering business who are only moving in one direction. You'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering exciting projects and the chance to progress further within the business.

Role & Responsibility of the Design Engineer

* Oversee the design aspects of projects from project handover to completion.

* Liaise with Engineers and Managers in producing CAD drawings.

* Compile design specifications & ensure compliance to industry & client standards.

* Generate design deliverables supported by other disciplines.

* Complete checking and approval processes.

* Check & complete procurement BoM for purchasing.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Demonstrate experience of mechanical design.

* Experience of working within the water sector or similar industry.

* Good knowledge of AutoCAD & Inventor or SolidWorks.

* Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.

* Strong design and technical skills.

* Full UK Driving Licence
