Your new company

Hays Education are working with a secondary school in the Wirral who are seeking an experienced, qualified teaching assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

Your new role

This role is working with KS3 and KS4 pupils outside and inside the classroom. The role includes the following:

Supporting the class teacher
1:1 and group work outside the classroom with pupils
Small group interventions with Maths and English
Behaviour management
Supporting SEN pupils
What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role, you must have a current DBS on the update service/be willing to apply for one as well as:

Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification/relevant qualification
1+ years experience within a secondary school (reference needed)
Experience running small group interventions outside the classroom
Experience supporting SEN pupils
