The RoleWe are supporting a fantastic local charity in their search for a new Finance Manager to join them on a permanent, or temp to perm basis.This is an office based role in Sunderland, working within a small team and running the day to day Finance Team. Duties will cover the following areas of responsibility:

• Month end duties including accruals, prepayments, journal entry etc. 
• Preparation of management accounts pack
• Providing detailed analysis and commentary
• Staff management - small team of two
• Handling day to day Finance operations

About YouThis role is suited to an experienced Management Accountant, who is happy to get stuck and supporting with day to day Finance operations. 

• Qualified by experience, AAT Qualified or Part Qualified CA
• Competent Management Accountant, comfortable preparing full sets of Monthly Management Accounts 
• Comfortable being hands on and supporting with ledger work/finance admin where required 
• Understanding of Payroll beneficial 
• Good people management skills and experience
