Driver Hire, the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work on various contracts throughout Manchester, Tameside, Salford and Trafford Park.

HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include:

* Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws

* Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance

* Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress

* Completing paperwork accurately as instructed

* Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner

HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:

* Cat-C Licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

* No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)

* Experience with ratchet straps

* Experience in a fast-paced multi-drop environment

* Excellent customer service skills and good literacy

* Full UK Driving licence, Class 2 entitlement held for 1 year

* Able to work to tight deadlines

HGV Class 2 Driver Benefits:

* The HGV Class 2 Driver will be offered true flexibility to pick and choose your working days from various available contracts. Work can include simple trunking work to multidrop and you could be delivering timber, catering goods, moving vehicles or simple depot to depot deliveries.

* Monday - Friday work with the option to work weekends

* Temp to Perm Opportunities' available for the right candidate

* Earn a minimum of £606 per week (inclusive of holiday pay) for full time Monday to Friday hours

* Minimum rate of pay of £15.15 per hour (inclusive of holiday) pay PLUS, regular overtime, paid weekly via PAYE.
