Key Responsibilities:

  • As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, provide dedicated one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs across Key Stages 1 to 4 in North London.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs as a PMLD Teaching Assistant.
  • Support classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment in South East London.
  • Participate actively in training and professional development sessions, enhancing your skills as an SEN TA.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a similar role, ideally across Key Stages 1 to 4 in South East London.
  • A genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs in North London.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience, qualities valued in a North London educational setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting the ethos of the school
