Salary & OTE - Up to £50,000

My client in Reading, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Technician to join their team. As a Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and general servicing.
Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
Follow manufacturer's specifications and guidelines to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed, including labor hours and parts used.
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.Qualifications and Experience:

Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified automotive technician
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
