Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to take the reins of a newly renovated nursery, complete with spacious rooms and a vibrant outdoor play area designed to inspire curiosity and growth in young minds.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood development, and a commitment to creating a nurturing space for both children and staff to flourish.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager with a strong track record of positive Ofsted inspections
  • A sound understanding of child development and EYFS frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • A positive, proactive, and inclusive leadership style

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children
  • Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals, offering ongoing support, training, and mentorship
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a rich curriculum that supports every child’s learning and development journey
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families through open, honest, and collaborative communication
  • Ensure the nursery meets all statutory and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and health & safety standards
  • Take responsibility for key administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and staff management
