About the Role

360 Recruitment are looking for a proactive and skilled Hygiene Manager to lead the hygiene team and oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of our hygiene standards. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll manage hygiene operations across a 4-shift spectrum, working closely with various departments to ensure our facilities meet the highest food safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of hygiene supervisors and operatives, managing both day and night shifts.
Develop and enhance cleaning processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining rigorous hygiene standards.
Drive and coordinate hygiene strategy, promoting health and safety culture and fostering team engagement.
Set, monitor, and achieve KPIs to ensure optimal operational performance.
Plan and coordinate daily and deep-cleaning cycles, working collaboratively with production and engineering to minimize downtime.
Investigate and address any technical issues related to micro or allergen contamination, implementing corrective actions.
Represent the hygiene team during customer visits and audits, upholding the company's reputation for safety and quality.Key Performance Indicators

Improved GMP/Hygiene audit scores and BRC Grade A maintenance.
Positive customer feedback from audits and visits.
Increased team engagement, skill development, and adherence to C.I.C. methodologies.Skills and Experience
Essential:

Proven experience in the hygiene function within food manufacturing.
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or ERP systems.
Solution-oriented, with a flexible approach to meet operational demands.Desirable:

Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP training (or willingness to obtain).
Chemical awareness training (or willingness to obtain).
