Link3 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 qualified Nursery Assistant to join our nursery in London, Battersea, SW8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development.
  • Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to deliver excellent childcare.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated with the latest best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and nurturing attitude towards children.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
