Duty Manager,  Luxury Game Lodge

Location: Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Town

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the game lodge, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth functioning of all departments
• Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory, supplies, and resources efficiently

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills with a guest-focused approach
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Degree in Hospitality Management preferred)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar setting
• Knowledge of hospitality operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Hospitality Management or related field
• Additional languages proficiency

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with expected flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings within the game lodge
