Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of a diverse range of projects. You will also represent the company at client meetings or design reviews and act as the technical lead on projects both large and small.

Job Duties:

Lead the structural design and analysis of various projects
Represent the company at client meetings and design reviews
Act as the technical lead on projects of different sizes

Required Qualifications:

Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Structural Engineers or equivalent accreditation
Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on design and analysis

Education:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on design and analysis

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in relevant engineering software
Effective communication and presentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Structural Engineering
Experience working on a variety of project types

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time permanent position based in Essex, with standard working hours. Occasional travel to client sites may be required
