Salary: £45000 - £55000/annum an outstanding benefits package

Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on clean and wastewater projects as part of a capital delivery program. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support maintenance and growth of water and wastewater systems.

This role can be done remotely with monthly travel requirements to Glasgow. 

What You'll Be Doing

Support Project Managers with design and engineering tasks before construction starts.

Attend and contribute to design and progress meetings.

Work closely with other engineers to coordinate designs.

Create technical documents like cable calculations, schematics, and cable schedules.

Produce electrical drawings, cable routes, and system layouts.

Review designs to make sure they meet industry standards.

Write reports, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.

What They're Looking For

Qualifications: Electrical Degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent.

Experience: Experience in design work within clean/wastewater or utility sectors.

License: Clean driving license.

Professional Status: Chartered, Incorporated, or working towards it (CEng/IEng).

Skills: Able to guide junior staff, work well in a team, and meet deadlines.
