Job Title: Roofer/Solar Installer (Contract Basis)

Location: Kent

Rate of Pay: £250-£350 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer/Solar Installer to join our team on an ongoing contract basis for our client, a leading renewables company based in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and solar panel installation, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities:

* Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops

* Perform roofing work, including repairs and new installations

* Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations

* Conduct site assessments and prepare roofs for solar panel installation

* Work collaboratively with other team members and subcontractors

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment

* Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service

* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a roofer and solar installer

* Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols

* Familiarity with solar panel installation processes and equipment

* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus
